These messages highlight her advocacy for affordable housing, concern for American hostages abroad, and support for educators in her community.

On February 15, 2025, Cherfilus-McCormick urged Americans to show love this Valentine's Day by ensuring their neighbors have stable homes. She emphasized the importance of investing in fair and affordable housing with the statement "Let’s show America love this Valentine’s Day by making sure our neighbors have a stable home. It’s time to #ShowHousingLOVE by investing in fair and affordable housing ".

Later that day, she expressed relief at the return of Sagui Dekel-Chen, an American citizen held hostage by Hamas for 498 days. In her message on social media, she stated "After 498 days of unimaginable horror, American citizen Sagui Dekel-Chen is finally returning home to his family and newborn after being held hostage by Hamas." She further called for the release of all hostages with the appeal "All hostages must be released and returned home to their loved ones immediately! #bringthemhome".

On February 17, 2025, Cherfilus-McCormick attended the Tiger Trail Parade where she honored local educators. She expressed her admiration for teachers who contribute significantly to Pompano Beach's education system and reaffirmed her commitment to supporting them despite challenges.
