Congressman Jared Moskowitz has taken to social media to address several key issues. Serving Florida’s 23rd district since 2023, Moskowitz shares his perspective on matters ranging from anti-BDS efforts to local postal services and recent events in Tallahassee.

On April 16, 2025, Moskowitz tweeted, "When I was in the FL State House, I led an effort to ban state contracts from going to groups that engage in the antisemitic BDS movement. Congress ought to follow that lead, stand with Israel, and ensure federal contracts don’t go to these groups either." This statement reflects his ongoing commitment to supportive policies regarding Israel and maintaining a stance against the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, "In our district alone, @USPS serves more than 400,000 addresses. That’s too important to take out of public hands." Moskowitz emphasized the significance of the United States Postal Service (USPS) in his district. He further expressed his support for postal workers in Florida and his commitment to protecting the integrity of public mail services.

The following day, on April 17, 2025, Moskowitz reacted to a tragic event with concern, stating, "I’m monitoring this horrible tragedy in Tallahassee. My thoughts are with those in the hospital, their families, and the FSU community during this time." He underscored the importance of ensuring student safety in educational institutions, referencing legislative efforts such as the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act aimed at mitigating gun violence.

Jared Moskowitz, born in Coral Springs, Florida, represents the 23rd District of Florida in the U.S. Congress. He has a background in political science and law, with a bachelor's degree from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. Besides his current tenure, he has experience serving in the Florida House of Representatives and Broward County Commission.
