Jared Moskowitz, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 23rd district since 2023, recently shared his perspectives on social media regarding significant issues impacting Floridians. The topics range from Social Security benefits to healthcare and disaster preparedness.

On January 31, 2025, Moskowitz commemorated the 85th anniversary of the first Social Security check, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to safeguard these benefits for seniors in Florida. He stated: "Today, we mark 85 years since the very first Social Security check—and continue our fight to protect the Social Security benefits that Florida seniors count on."

On February 3, 2025, he addressed the financial challenges faced by seniors requiring hearing aids. In support of this cause, Moskowitz announced his backing for legislation aimed at expanding Medicare coverage for hearing aids and related exams. He tweeted: "Hundreds of thousands of FL seniors rely on hearing aids to go about life, and meeting that medical necessity shouldn't be a financial burden. I'm backing the Medicare Hearing Aid Coverage Act so Medicare expands to finally cover hearing aids and exams."

Later that day, Moskowitz highlighted an initiative designed to enhance disaster preparedness among Floridians. Alongside Representative Laurel Lee, he introduced the READY Account Act. This proposed legislation aims to establish tax-free savings accounts dedicated to disaster readiness efforts. He commented: "Floridians should have as many tools as possible to better prepare their home for disaster. So @RepLaurelLee & I introduced the READY Account Act to create tax-free savings accounts for disaster preparedness, help families stay ready, and keep hard-earned money in their pockets."
