A horrific tragedy has taken place in our City. One of our children, 16-year-old Rickey Ferguson Jr., a student and football player at Deerfield Beach High School, was shot on Wednesday, December 28. You may have heard by now that Mr. Ferguson passed yesterday, January 3. We are devastated by his loss, and we mourn with the community and the family of Mr. Ferguson. 

We are concerned about the kids and want them to know there is a healthy outlet for feelings of despair and grief. Please take a look at the following resources below.
