On November 22, 2024, she acknowledged the Zeta Alpha Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., praising their dedication to community service in Broward County over the past 70 years. On November 23, 2024, she announced her role as a co-leader in introducing the Caregiver Financial Relief Act with fellow representatives Mike Lawler, Josh Gottheimer, and Juan Ciscomani. The proposed legislation aims to provide financial support by waiving penalties on early retirement account withdrawals used for family caregiving expenses.
