The Community Services Department needs members for its AHAC board. The committee, which recommends strategies for the Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP), must be comprised of 11 members with experience in one of the following areas:
• Residential Home Building Industry
• Banking or Mortgage Banking Industry
• Engaged in the Labor of Home Building
• Advocate for low-income persons
• For-profit provider of affordable housing
• Not-for-profit provider of affordable housing
• Real estate professional in connection with Affordable Housing
• Local planning agency member per 163.3174 (to be filled by a member of the City’s Planning and Zoning Board)
• Citizen who resides within the jurisdiction
• Representative of Employers
• Representative of Essential Services Personnel
