City of Deerfield Beach recently issued the following announcement.
Broward Sheriff's Office is hosting a BSO Operation Medicine Cabinet, and Shred-a-Thon event on Saturday, March 12, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Pompano Citi Centre, 1955 North Federal Highway.
Community members can bring up to two (2) boxes of documents for shredding per vehicle.
BSO will also be accepting unused, unwanted, or expired medications for safe disposal. Gift cards will be available in exchange for medications while supplies last.
These events are open to anyone from any city or county, and a picture ID is not required.
