Jared Moskowitz, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 23rd district, shared his thoughts and activities through a series of tweets. Moskowitz, who replaced Ted Deutch in 2023, has been active in promoting legislation and engaging with community organizations.
On March 14, 2025, Moskowitz expressed support for a recent court decision regarding gun control laws in Florida. He stated, "I applaud today’s court decision to uphold a bipartisan FL law that raised our state’s age to buy a gun to 21, which I helped pass after the shooting in my hometown of Parkland. This ruling shows commonsense gun reforms that keep families safe don’t infringe on the 2nd Amendment."
On March 17, 2025, Moskowitz tweeted about his meeting with local leaders from youth organizations. He wrote, "It was great meeting with Chris and Jaene, CEOs of Broward and Palm Beach County Boys & Girls Clubs. @BGCA_Clubs do so much to promote personal development and academic success for youth, and I’m proud to support the targeted resources these groups rely on to support that…"
Later on the same day, he shared his recognition by an environmental organization. Moskowitz tweeted, "I’m proud to have received a 100% legislative score from the @Defenders of Wildlife! In Congress, I’m committed to protecting the Everglades and Florida’s beautiful biodiversity for future generations."
