She stated, "In honor of Veteran's Day, I toured the district to connect with our veterans and thank them for their unwavering service and courage to our country. Freedom is not free. Thank you to @cityofplantation, @cityofsunrise, and North Lauderdale for honoring our #FL20 veterans."
The following day, November 13, 2024, she urged the Senate to pass a significant piece of legislation that would impact public servants in her district. She tweeted, "The Senate must pass this act so @POTUS can sign this act into law and securely deliver millions of overdue benefits back to our public servants in #FL20."
