On November 2, 2024, Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick mentioned a collaboration with Roche and local organizations to address specific challenges. She stated that "Roche is working with local organizations to develop tailored solutions for these challenges."

The following day, November 3, 2024, she celebrated the graduation of the first class of Doulas from the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies program. She expressed pride in securing federal funding for this initiative by stating: "My team was honored to celebrate the first class of Doulas from the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies program. I'm proud to have secured $305,000 in federal funding to support this important initiative." She congratulated the graduates and emphasized her commitment to black maternal health.
