The City of Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the first Pompano Caribbean Fest. The Pompano Caribbean Fest will be held on Saturday, October 22nd from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Pompano Community Park located at 1801 NE 6th Street. The Pompano Caribbean Fest is free of charge and is an excellent opportunity to celebrate everything Caribbean in one place.
This family-friendly event will feature music by DJ Mike Coly and a special live Caribbean concert experience featuring performances from Harmonik. One of Haiti’s most popular crossover acts, Haromink’s sound is influenced by soul, funk and kompa. Other performers for Caribbean Fest include Karibbean Groove and Samyluve-Da’Grovve. The event will also include tasty Caribbean food, dancers, a kid’s zone and a junkanoo Band.
