First responders are always standing by, ready to serve when disaster strikes. This stands true when Hurricane Ian caused devastation on Florida’s west coast.
To assist with Hurricane Ian relief efforts, Tamarac deployed eight members of the Tamarac Fire Rescue team and multiple emergency vehicles. Just like first responders, you can help, too, by making monetary and supply donations. Please see below for ways you can provide support.
- Volunteer Florida has activated the Florida Disaster Fund. Monetary contributions can be made by visiting www.FloridaDisasterFund.org or texting DISASTER to 20222.
- The United Way of Broward County is supporting the efforts of Food For The Poor. Visit the link below to see the list of specific relief items that are needed.
