Notice is hereby given by the City of Deerfield Beach that a public hearing is scheduled to approve a proposed increase to the City’s affordable housing assistance programs subsidy, specifically for the Home Rehabilitation and Purchase Assistance Programs. The City’s affordable housing programs are funded through federal and state grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the State of Florida and are designed to serve low-and moderate-income persons in the City.
The public hearing will be held during the Deerfield Beach City Commission meeting on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 150 NE 2nd Avenue, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441. Citizens are encouraged to attend and provide input.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statutes 286.26, persons with disabilities that require special accommodations to participate in this hearing should contact the Office of the City Clerk at least 24 hours prior to the hearing at (954) 480-4213 for assistance.
