City of Coral Springs recently issued the following announcement.
The city’s popular summer camp, Kamp Kool will return in its original format this summer for kids entering 1st grade through 8th grade with registration opening on Monday, March 28. The camp will include engaging, age-appropriate activities for kids such as arts and crafts, science experiments, swimming, field trips, special guest visits, and a popular team competition known as “Color Wars.”
Kamp Kool offers both 6-week and 3-week sessions.
- 3-week camp: June 21 - July 8
- 3-week camp: July 11 - July 29
- 6-week camp: June 21 - July 29
Parents may also register students individually for the weeks of June 13 – June 17 (Mini Camp) and August 1 - August 5 (Extension Camp.)
Locations:
Camp locations include the Coral Springs Gymnasium, Mullins Hall, and Coral Glades High School. Locations vary depending on time, ages, and dates. Various location options are offered to accommodate families who live near or whose commutes take them near different areas of the city.
Times:
Camps are offered either 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate more daily schedules and to allow for various price offerings.
Registration:
Registration for Mini Camp, Extension Camp and the 6-Week camp opens March 28. Registration for the three-week camps opens on April 4. Registration is available online and in-person at the Coral Springs Gymnasium (2501 Coral Springs Drive.)
The City of Coral Springs reserves the right to cancel and/or change programs or locations due to insufficient enrollment. Camp sites are subject to change based on site or school availability.
