Florida Atlantic University issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.

FAUSports.com is proud to update our fans on the exploits of all of the former Owls who are lacing their cleats up each week in the NFL. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the eighth week of the 2021 NFL season (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):

 Active Owls (10)

#51 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | San Francisco 49ers

- Al-Shaair did not play Sunday against Chicago due to lingering effects from a concussion (without him, the team defeated the Bears, 33-22). The 49ers are "optimistic" he will return this weekend.

49ers' Record: 3-4

Next Game: vs. Arizona – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Cleveland Browns

- Bryant hauled in both passes thrown his way Sunday, for 33 yards, with each reception going for a first down (12 and 21 yards, respectively). He recorded 23 snaps at tight end, and reached double digits in special teams snaps for the eighth time in eight games this season with 10. The Browns lost to Pittsburgh, 15-10.

Browns' Record: 4-4

Next Game: at Cincinnati (and Hendrickson) – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals

- Hendrickson set a career high with six tackles, three solo and three assists, while recording yet another sack (making it four straight games with a quarterback takedown). He had three hurries and four QB pressures and did not miss a tackle, but the Bengals were topped by the Jets late, 34-31.

Bengals' Record: 5-3

Next Game: vs. Cleveland (and Bryant and Miller) – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

#38 Buddy Howell | RB/ST | Los Angeles Rams

- Howell saw his first action on offense as a Ram, against his former Texans team, on Sunday. He had five carries for 11 yards, with nine of those yards coming before contact, late in the team's 38-22 win. He also played 21 of 33 special teams snaps in the Rams' fourth straight win.

Rams' Record: 7-1

Next Game: vs. Tennessee – Sunday Night Football, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

#1 Greg Joseph | K | Minnesota Vikings

- Joseph made all four of his kicks on SNF, but the Vikings were edged out in the final seconds by Dallas, 20-16. He was good on his 45-, 40-, and 24-yard field goal attempts, and on his only extra point opportunity, and all five of his kickoffs went into the end zone (with four touchbacks and one ran out).

Vikings' Record: 3-4

Next Game: at Baltimore – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)

#34 Cre'von LeBlanc | DB | Houston Texans

Texans' Record: 1-7

Next Game: at Miami – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
