City of Coral Spring issued the following announcement on Aug. 26
On September 8, 2020, the Coral Springs Museum of Art kicks off Fall classes virtually. Students of all ages, skill levels and arts interest are welcome to participate in the innovative high-quality programming. Ranging from hands-on techniques to demos and talks, the classes are focused on enhancing the lives and professions of those who participate.
Regarding the virtual classes, Coral Springs Museum of Art Director Jill Brown said, “Our goal is to create community through the arts and though we can’t host our classes in person this Fall, we reimagined them for virtual participation. Art classes help students with decision-making, motor skills, critical thinking, innovation, visual learning, and so much more, which is why we believe it’s important to provide our community with access to our programs albeit virtually.”
