The UNLV Rebels, with former Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School standout Jacob Gomberg on their roster, suffered a 6-1 defeat against the Grand Canyon Antelopes in their NCAA Division I baseball contest on Saturday, April 11, at 6 p.m.

The matchup was held at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark and marked the teams’ second game of the season. UNLV had previously earned a 13-8 victory over the Antelopes on Friday, April 10.

Jacob Gomberg pitched for 0.1 innings and allowed two walks during the game.

UNLV will face the Antelopes again at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark on Sunday, April 12.
