First half of 2022: Home prices in Parkland increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Parkland rose by $240,000 while total sales decreased by 18.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 228 homes sold, with a median sale price of $950,000 - a 33.8 percent increase over the $710,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 279 homes sold in Parkland in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Parkland for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $8,380, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
