Lauderdale-by-the-Sea home prices rose in May

The median sale price of a home sold in May in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea rose by $50,000 while total sales decreased by 32.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $560,000 - a 9.8 percent increase over the $510,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in May 2021.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,183, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for May.
