City of Coconut Creek recently issued the following announcement.
Participants will enjoy fishing at Sabal Pines Park’s lake. Awards will be presented for weirdest, heaviest and most fish caught. Participants are responsible for providing their own
fishing gear and bait. (Catch and release)
-For all ages; children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
-Saturday, January 29th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
-Held at Sabal Pine Park, 5005 NW 39 Avenue; Check in at Pines Pavilion
• $10 for Coconut Creek residents; $15 for non-residents
• Face mask and social distancing is recommended

-Registration is ongoing until filled, space is limited to 20 participants
-Walk-in registration accepted at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard or the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
