City of Lighthouse Point recently issued the following announcement.
Due to the ongoing construction projects at Dan Witt Park, we do not have a place for residents to drop off Christmas trees for recycling.
As a substitute, the Public Works Department will pick up clean trees for recycling on Thursday, January 6th and Friday, January 7th. Please put out clean trees for chipping on the following days: South of Sample Road - Thursday, January 6th and North of Sample Road - Friday, January 7th.
Trees must be clean of lights, tinsel, spray snow, stands, and ornaments to be chipped and recycled.
If you do not wish to participate, bulk will pick up your trees on your regular service days.
