University of Central Florida Athletics issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
The UCF women's soccer team concluded its regular season on Thursday, falling 3-1 to Cincinnati on the road. The Knights' finish with an 8-6-1 overall record, and 3-4-1 in the conference as they look to the American Athletic Conference Championship this weekend.
Cincinnati jumped out to the early lead with a goal in the 12th minute of the match. The Bearcats extended the lead less than ten minutes later, and would take a 2-0 lead over UCF into halftime.
Kristen Scott pulled a goal back to put the game within reach in the 55th minute, off of an assist from Anna Henderson. The Knights would be unable to mount the comeback, as Cincinnati extended the lead to the final 3-1 score line.

The Knights three-game, shutout win streak comes to an end.
Cincinnati outshout the Black and Gold 8-4, and earned seven corners to UCF's two.
Kristen Scott scored her 10th goal of the season with her 55th minute goal. Scott's 10 goals are a career-high for a season.
UCF falls to 5-5-2 all-time against Cincinnati, and are 0-4-2 all-time at Gettler Stadium.
