Discussion for New City Manager

City of Crystal River recently issued the following announcement.

At their meeting on October 7, 2021, the Eustis City Commission voted unanimously to appoint Tom Carrino, the City’s Economic Development Director, as Interim City Manager. Carrino has been the Economic Development Director for the City since 2014.He also serves as the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Administrator.

Carrino is excited about the opportunity and is confident that he can continue to work successfully in his new role with Commission, staff, and the community to create a supportive and dynamic environment. 

There was also a discussion regarding the selection process for a permanent City Manager. The Commission consensus was to conduct a local and nationwide search for qualified candidates using an executive search firm.
