City of Margate issued the following announcement on July 23.
In order to protect the quality of our water, many businesses and residences have backflow prevention assemblies, known as BPAs, installed at their water meters. The BPAs prevent the backflow of potentially contaminated water into the public water supply.
Starting on August 1, the City of Margate is introducing a BPA Testing and Maintenance Program to assist businesses and homeowners test the BPAs.
