City of Deerfield Beach issued the following announcement on July 21.
The City of Deerfield Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce this year’s Jr. Anglers Day presented by FishAngler that will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the International Fishing Pier, 200 NE 21 Avenue.
This fishing event, for children ages 5 – 13, will include fishing clinics, goodie bags, arts and crafts to-go bags, and ice cream. Registration is $5 per angler, spots are limited, and participants MUST be pre-registered! There will be no on-site registrations. Registration will be available on Friday, July 23, 2021. Please visit www.dfb.city/registration to register and secure your spot. Parking on the barrier island is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is metered parking.
