Broward Health North issued the following announcement on Aug. 19
Broward Health North has welcomed Cheryl Wild, RN, MSN, MBA, as its new chief nursing officer (CNO). Wild has more than 30 years of clinical and administrative experience in her role. As CNO, Wild will oversee and coordinate the hospital's nursing units and their daily operations and will provide strategic leadership to nursing and patient care functions and services.
“We are lucky to have Cheryl as part of our team,” said Alice Taylor, CEO of Broward Health North. “I am very excited about her vision for nursing and the wealth of experience and leadership she brings to our hospital.”
Wild most recently served as the CNO at Broward Health Coral Springs and was previously with Good Samaritan Medical Center as Chief Nursing Officer and Delray Medical Center as Assistant Chief Nursing officer and Director of Nursing. She currently serves as chair for Broward Health’s Chief Nursing Officer Council and has been instrumental in enhancing Broward Health’s quality composite scores.
Wild earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Trenton State College in New Jersey, a Master of Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and a master’s in nursing, leadership and health systems management from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
