On March 15, 2025, Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick expressed concern over the potential defunding of the U.S. Minority Business Development Agency (USMBDA). She stated that “Defunding the @USMBDA is a direct attack on innovation, limiting opportunities for talented minorities to contribute to America’s progress.” The congresswoman highlighted the agency’s role in empowering women entrepreneurs and underserved communities by providing them access to capital.

Later that day, she acknowledged Bishop Henry Fernandez for his leadership within Florida’s 20th District. In a tweet posted at 23:14 UTC, she mentioned “It was an absolute joy presenting Bishop @HenryFernandez with a proclamation for his leadership, commitment, and dedication to strengthening communities in Florida’s 20th District through his pastorship of the @TheFaithCenter.”

On March 16, 2025, Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick announced an upcoming town hall meeting in Royal Palm Beach. She invited constituents to discuss important topics such as Social Security and Veterans’ Health Care. She tweeted “TOMORROW, I will be hosting a town hall in Royal Palm Beach…” The event is scheduled for March 17 at Cypress Hall.
