Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, representing Florida’s 20th district, has recently addressed various issues through her social media platform. Her remarks have touched on topics ranging from antisemitism within the Pentagon to concerns over Social Security cuts impacting her constituents.

On March 10, 2025, Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick expressed her disapproval of a senior staffer in the Pentagon for alleged antisemitic behavior. She stated, “Such vile antisemitism and bigotry cannot be tolerated — let alone from a senior staffer in the halls of our Pentagon.” She further criticized Kingsley Wilson’s capability to serve the American public.

The following day, on March 11, she commented on Republican calculations regarding budget matters by saying, “This is what we knew to be true all along. House Republicans’ math wouldn’t have made sense otherwise.”

Later that day, she addressed workforce reductions at the Social Security Administration and their potential impact on residents of Florida’s 20th district. She asserted her commitment to safeguarding these benefits: “As the Social Security Administration faces workforce cuts, thousands in #FL20 who rely on Social Security are worried about losing their lifeline. I won’t stand for that – I will continue to fight to ensure everyone has access to the benefits they have worked their entire lives…”
