On Tuesday, March 25, former Pompano Beach High School standout Juliana Hooker’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northern Iowa Panthers.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Washington Huskies.
