On Saturday, March 22, former Pompano Beach High School standout Sammy Murphy’s current college team, the Florida Tech Panthers, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Leo Lions.

The game took place at Nancy Bottge Field. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.

The Tech Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field against Tampa Spartans.
