Moskowitz emphasized the importance of FEMA across different regions, stating, “Glad to have @SenThomTillis and @SenAlexPadilla onboard our bipartisan FEMA Independence Act as they introduce a Senate version of the bill. From red states to blue states and urban areas to rural ones, FEMA is critical to our emergency response, and we have to save it.”

The following day, on April 4, 2025, Moskowitz announced his co-leadership of the CAPE Canaveral Act, a bipartisan initiative aimed at relocating NASA headquarters from Washington, D.C. to Florida to enhance the space program’s efficiency. He shared, “NEW: I’m proud to co-lead the CAPE Canaveral Act, a bipartisan bill to move NASA headquarters from DC to Florida. Having @NASA’s top leaders closer to cutting-edge researchers, astronauts, and engineers at Cape Canaveral will make our space program more efficient and effective.”
