On Wednesday, April 9, former North Broward Preparatory School standouts Kobe Benson and Mauri Bejarano’s current college team, the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Morehead State Eagles.

The game took place at Earle Combs Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Colonels’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Earle Combs Stadium against Lipscomb Bisons.
