Congressman Jared Moskowitz, currently serving Florida’s 23rd District in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared several updates via social media. These posts highlight both personal and political aspects of his life.

On March 12, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz shared a personal moment involving a religious tradition. He expressed gratitude towards Rabbis Avraham Friedman and Yankie Denburg for their assistance in installing a mezuzah at his new office. Moskowitz stated: “With help from Rabbis Avraham Friedman and Yankie Denburg, I’m proud to now have a mezuzah hanging outside my new office door. Many thanks to the rabbis for visiting from Chabad of Coral Springs to install it and pray alongside me.”

The following day, on March 13, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz turned his attention to legislative matters concerning Social Security and Medicare. He questioned Speaker Mike Johnson’s intentions regarding these programs after an amendment he proposed was not accepted. In his post, he wrote: “If the Mike Johnson CR wasn’t a prelude to cut Social Security and Medicare, why didn’t the speaker accept my simple amendment to protect it? And let’s not forget Republicans removed their own speaker over doing a CR. We need a bipartisan solution to keep government open.”

Later that same day, Moskowitz invited followers to watch a full interview by posting: “Watch the full interview.”
