Congressman Jared Moskowitz, representing Florida’s 23rd district, recently shared insights and updates through a series of tweets. Moskowitz, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023 after replacing Ted Deutch, expressed gratitude towards his summer interns and discussed international policy matters concerning Iran.
On June 20, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz acknowledged the contributions of his summer interns in a tweet: “Today’s the last day for our wonderful class of the first group of summer interns. Thanks so much to Riana, Arnav, Emilia, and Presley for all your hard work these past few weeks taking care of business for Broward and Palm Beach Counties!” The message highlighted the efforts of Riana, Arnav, Emilia, and Presley in supporting operations for Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
In another tweet on June 22, 2025, Moskowitz addressed concerns about Iran’s nuclear capabilities: “I’ve always held that Iran cannot be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. That has been US policy throughout Democratic and Republican Administrations, and it is my hope that Iran no longer has the capabilities to continue its nuclear program. The world would be a safer place.” He emphasized the longstanding U.S. policy against Iran developing nuclear weapons.
Following this statement on June 22, 2025, he further elaborated on diplomatic efforts with Iran: “Now, Iran must come to the table to finally make a deal. Their regime has had multiple opportunities to pursue diplomacy, and perhaps today’s events will push them to this safer path. That’s something we should all prefer and something I’ll continue to push for on @HouseForeign.” This reflects his advocacy for diplomatic resolutions within his role on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Jared Moskowitz was born in Coral Springs in 1980 and currently resides in Parkland. He graduated from George Washington University with a BA in 2003 and earned a JD from Nova Southeastern University in 2007.
