Jared Moskowitz, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 23rd district, is utilizing social media to share updates and insights on a variety of issues. Elected in 2023, Moskowitz has a background in state and local governance and is vocal about both local and national matters.

On April 2, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz expressed gratitude for a visit by the Florida Dental Association to his office. In a tweet, he stated: “It’s all smiles when the Florida Dental Association drops by! Thanks for visiting our office and for all you do to enhance quality dental care for Floridians.”

Later that day, Moskowitz appeared to question a policy or event’s effect on Americans’ finances with a brief tweet, asking: “And this is going to help Americans’ pocketbooks how?”

On April 3, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz highlighted a collaborative effort with Representative Eric Sorensen, urging the reinstatement of employees laid off by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Weather Service. He emphasized the risks associated with such layoffs amidst the approaching hurricane season, tweeting: “Today, @RepEricSorensen and I led 23 of our colleagues to push for reinstating laid-off workers at @NOAA & @NWS. Getting rid of meteorologists and flight crews is dangerous and does nothing to make government more efficient. As hurricane season looms, these cuts must be reversed.”
