Congressman Jared Moskowitz, currently serving Florida’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, has been active on social media addressing various issues. His tweets range from personal reflections to expressions of gratitude and support for community members.

On May 5, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz shared a poignant message regarding his experiences attending funerals for children and teachers killed in the Parkland shooting. He stated, “I went to funerals for kids & teachers on this wall killed in my hometown of Parkland. Removing dead kids won’t improve government or make you look strong on 2A. It makes you look petty & weak. Watch a parent bury their kid because they went to school, you’ll never be the same.”

The following day, May 6, he expressed gratitude towards his departing intern class by acknowledging their contributions over the semester: “Today’s the last day for our intern class. Thank you to Sarah, Beatty, and Adriana for doing a job this semester.”

Additionally, on May 6, Moskowitz extended appreciation to educators during National Teacher Week with a message highlighting their impact: “Happy National Teacher Week to all the educators out there making a difference! We can never thank you enough for all you do to support our students and our communities.”

Jared Moskowitz has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Ted Deutch. He previously held positions in both the Florida House of Representatives and Broward County Commission. Born in Coral Springs in 1980 and residing in Parkland, Moskowitz holds degrees from George Washington University and Nova Southeastern University.
