Congressman Jared Moskowitz, currently representing Florida’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed several issues through social media. His comments span topics from international relations to local achievements and domestic safety concerns.
On June 13, 2025, Congressman Moskowitz expressed his firm stance on nuclear proliferation by emphasizing the threat posed by certain regimes. He stated, “A regime that promises death to America and Israel can never be allowed to achieve nuclear capabilities. I support Israel’s right to defend itself from a nuclear Iran—an unacceptable end that would put Israel and our other allies in constant danger and undermine world stability.”
Later that day, he took a moment to celebrate local talent by congratulating Maya Todorov of Boca Raton for her success in the Congressional Art Competition. In his words, “Congratulations to Maya Todorov of Boca Raton, whose artwork was selected as the winner of our 2025 Congressional Art Competition. She’s incredibly talented, and it was great to meet up with her this week to see her piece, Maestro, on display in the U.S. Capitol! #CAC”
The following day, June 14th, Moskowitz voiced his concern over political violence after two Minnesota lawmakers were victims of shootings at their homes. He remarked, “I’m deeply disturbed by the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses last night in their own homes. What happened to Rep. Hortman, Sen. Hoffman, and their spouses is tragic. Political violence is unacceptable, and we must do all we can to keep those who serve safe.”
Jared Moskowitz has been serving Florida’s 23rd District since replacing Ted Deutch in 2023. Prior roles include serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to 2019 and on the Broward County Commission from 2022 until assuming his current position.
