Congressman Jared Moskowitz, who represents Florida’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to address concerns about antisemitism and to honor members of the United States Armed Forces.
On May 16, 2026, Moskowitz posted: “Everyday antisemitism grows, and everyday people try and ignore it or worse rationalize it. And as good people remain quiet, just like before, that’s why it spreads.”
Later that day, he marked Armed Forces Day with a tribute: “On Armed Forces Day we remember a fundamental truth: freedom is not free. Our nation is strong because of the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces serving our country. To those serving and to the military families beside them: America is stronger because of you.”
Two days later, on May 18, Moskowitz reiterated his concerns regarding antisemitism by stating: “Antisemitism is mainstream. It’s being ignored or worse rationalized. Propaganda spreads as fast as you can post it. We are in a war against time before it’s too late. We need good people to stand up and speak out.”
Jared Moskowitz has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Ted Deutch as representative for Florida’s 23rd district. He previously held positions in the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to 2019 and on the Broward County Commission from 2022 to 2023. Born in Coral Springs in 1980, Moskowitz resides in Parkland and holds degrees from George Washington University (BA) and Nova Southeastern University (JD).
