Congressman Jared Moskowitz, who has represented Florida’s 23rd District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently addressed several issues and events through his official social media account. Moskowitz, a former member of the Florida House of Representatives and Broward County Commission, commented on federal emergency management funding, U.S.-Israel relations, and local business development.

On July 9, 2025, Moskowitz reiterated concerns regarding budget reductions to key federal agencies. He stated: “I’ve been sounding the alarm for months that cuts to FEMA and the National Weather Service could have severe consequences on emergency management. We need an after-action review of what happened in Texas and we must ensure these agencies have what they need to keep people safe.”

Later that day, Moskowitz acknowledged his appointment to a bipartisan group focused on U.S.-Israel relations. He wrote: “It is an honor to be named by @RepJeffries to this bipartisan group, which reaffirms the enduring alliance between the U.S. and Israel. I look forward to working with my House colleagues and Knesset counterparts to strengthen the relationship between our nations.” This statement highlights ongoing efforts in Congress to maintain international partnerships.

On July 10, 2025, Moskowitz commented on local economic activity in Boca Raton: ” OPEN FUR BUSINESS: Very excited to see @thefarmersdog open their new office in Boca Raton and look forward to seeing the great business they continue to build here!”

Jared Moskowitz was born in Coral Springs, Florida in 1980 and currently resides in Parkland. He graduated from George Washington University with a BA in 2003 and earned a JD from Nova Southeastern University in 2007.
