Congressman Jared Moskowitz, who represents Florida’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to address issues ranging from elder care and education funding to ethics reforms for presidential libraries.

On July 14, 2025, Moskowitz marked a legislative milestone by posting, “Today marks 60 years since the Older Americans Act was signed into law, providing critical funding for elder care and nutritional programs like Meals on Wheels. In Congress, I’m focused on strengthening these programs and ensuring our seniors can live with dignity.”

The following day, July 15, he addressed concerns about public education resources in Broward County. Moskowitz wrote, “Under the Administration’s freeze on public education funding, @BrowardSchools is missing more than $30M in critical education resources. I’m leading my Broward-area colleagues demanding they release these funds and ensure FL students and teachers have what they need to succeed.”

Most recently, on July 16, Moskowitz highlighted his efforts to increase transparency around presidential library donations. He stated, “Right now, the presidential library system allows donations of unlimited value from anonymous donors and even foreign governments. Today, I introduced commonsense reforms with @SenWarren, @SenBlumenthal, @Rep_Stansbury, & @RepRaskin to subject every president to new ethics rules.”

Jared Moskowitz has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Ted Deutch as representative for Florida’s 23rd district. Prior to his current role in Washington D.C., he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to 2019 and later as a member of the Broward County Commission between 2022 and 2023. Born in Coral Springs in 1980 and currently residing in Parkland at age 42, Moskowitz holds degrees from George Washington University (BA) and Nova Southeastern University (JD).
