On Sunday, March 16, former J.p. Taravella High School standouts EJ Burns and Vincent Samuel’s current college team, the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stetson Hatters.

The game took place at Melching Field at Conrad Park. This was their third matchup against the Hatters this season.

The Coast Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at USF Baseball Stadium against South Florida Bulls.
