Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
0Comments

The City of #DeerfieldBeach has partnered with FPL to install electric vehicle charging stations at the main beach parking lot. Six vehicles can charge at once, and the charging is free to the users. Users must still follow all rules for parking at the beach, including pulling in forward and paying to park.

Here’s how to start using the FPL EVolution charging stations in four easy steps:

1. Download the ChargePoint app available from the Apple Store or Google Play.

2. Create a ChargePoint account. It’s free and easy to create an account. You will need to add a payment method to pay for charging at other locations.

3. Text “EV” to MYFPL (69375) to receive a link to the FPL EVolution connection.

4. Connect to FPL EVolution. This step enables you to participate in the research program, which includes free charging at this location.

You will only need to connect to FPL EVolution once. As soon as the connection is established, you can hold your mobile phone near the reader to begin charging.
