Congressman Jared Moskowitz, representing Florida’s 23rd district, recently shared several updates on his official Twitter account. His posts covered topics ranging from labor union support to sports celebrations and educational achievements.
On June 17, 2025, Moskowitz tweeted about a meeting with Floridians from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union). He expressed his commitment to supporting union workers in Congress by stating, “I had a great meeting with Floridians from the @IAM_Union, which represents hundreds of thousands of skilled workers across the country. Union workers have my word that I’ll always stand up for safe working conditions and collective bargaining rights in Congress.”
The following day, June 18, 2025, Moskowitz congratulated the Florida Panthers on their consecutive Stanley Cup victories. He posted on Twitter: “BACK-TO-BACK STANLEY CUP CHAMPS!!! Congrats to the @FlaPanthers on your hard-earned victory. The cup stays in South Florida! “ This tweet celebrated the team’s achievement and its significance for South Florida.
Later that day, Moskowitz highlighted a personal milestone involving young constituents. He tweeted about meeting nine students he nominated for attendance at national service academies. His message read: “I had the honor to meet with nine outstanding students I nominated who will be attending one of our nation’s service academies this fall. These Floridians embody the perseverance and leadership that will help them on their journey to becoming officers in our armed forces.”
Jared Moskowitz has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Ted Deutch. Before his congressional tenure, he was part of the Florida House of Representatives and Broward County Commission. Born in Coral Springs in 1980, Moskowitz holds degrees from George Washington University and Nova Southeastern University.
