On Tuesday, March 25, former J.p. Taravella High School standout Chris Scinta’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Schroeder Park. This was their first matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Schroeder Park against TCU Horned Frogs.
