Chip LaMarca, a public official representing Broward County, highlighted his recent community engagement activities through a series of social media posts in early May 2026.
On May 8, LaMarca expressed support for Meals on Wheels in Broward County, writing, “Proud to support @_MealsOnWheels in Broward County. Thank you to the Panza family for hosting a great event.”
Later that day, he shared appreciation for Henderson Behavioral Health and acknowledged his wife’s longstanding involvement with the organization. He stated, “For many years, my amazing wife served on the board for @HendersonHlth and we had a great time supporting their efforts at their 10th annual dinner. We were proud to sponsor the valet parking and look forward to continuing to be supportive.”
On May 9, LaMarca commented on a milestone event with Habitat for Humanity of Broward. He wrote, “Today was a big day for 20 families that have worked hard with @HabitatBroward to make the dream of homeownership a reality. Thanks for trusting me to be your voice in Tallahassee. Special thanks to the Taylor family and the @bbiteam for creating the village. Welcome home! “
Meals on Wheels programs across the United States provide meals and support services to seniors and individuals facing food insecurity. Henderson Behavioral Health is known as one of Florida’s oldest and largest providers of behavioral healthcare services. Habitat for Humanity affiliates partner with local families to build affordable housing.
